I was lucky in that sense that getting my real estate license led me to meeting my mentors Than & Paul. They taught me all the fundamentals of real estate investing and showed me that the recession in 2008 was more of a blessing than a curse..
At 22 years old, I was terrified of what my parents would think after spending 4 years in college and deciding to pursue real estate but I took a leap of faith and never looked back. I started buying rental properties one at a time and 15 years later I have been fortunate enough to not only retire my wife and I but most of my extended family.
The moral of the story is, it’s NOT luck, it’s NOT money, and it’s certainly NOT intelligence that allowed me to find success. It was the support of my mentors and hard work. The even better news is that anyone can accomplish EXACTLY what I have.
